1. Service Overview
Reklaim Protect is a premium subscription service that helps you monitor and remove your personal information from data brokers, people search sites, and other online sources. These terms supplement our general Terms & Conditions.
By subscribing to Reklaim Protect, you agree to these additional terms and conditions specific to the Protect service.
2. Eligibility
To use Reklaim Protect, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a resident of the United States or Canada
- Have a valid Reklaim account in good standing
- Provide accurate personal information for data removal requests
Authorization: By subscribing, you authorize Reklaim to act on your behalf to submit data removal requests, opt-out requests, and privacy rights requests to third parties that may hold your personal information.
3. Subscription & Billing
Subscription Plans
Reklaim Protect is available as a monthly or annual subscription. Current pricing is displayed at the time of purchase and in your account settings.
Automatic Renewal
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. We will charge the payment method on file at the then-current rate.
Payment Processing
Payments are processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. All amounts are in USD or CAD, depending on your location.
Price Changes
We may change subscription prices with 30 days' advance notice. Price changes will take effect at your next renewal date. You may cancel before the new price takes effect.
4. Service Features
Reklaim Protect includes the following features:
Continuous scanning of 100+ data brokers and people search sites for your information.
We submit opt-out and removal requests on your behalf to sites that have your data.
Real-time status updates on removal requests and re-scans to verify removal.
Access to priority customer support for Protect-related issues.
Monthly privacy reports showing your exposure level and removal progress.
5. Data Removal Process
How It Works:
- We scan data broker sites for records matching your personal information
- When matches are found, we submit removal requests on your behalf
- We monitor the status of each request and follow up as needed
- We re-scan periodically to verify removals and catch new listings
Timeline: Most data brokers process removal requests within 30-45 days, though some may take longer. We cannot guarantee specific timeframes as processing depends on each data broker's policies.
Re-Listing: Data brokers may re-list your information over time from new sources. Reklaim Protect continuously monitors for re-listings and submits new removal requests as needed.
6. Limitations & Disclaimers
Please understand the following limitations:
- No Guarantee of Complete Removal: While we work to remove your information from as many sources as possible, we cannot guarantee removal from all sites. Some sites may not honor removal requests or may have legal exemptions.
- Public Records: We cannot remove information from government public records, court records, or other legally required public disclosures.
- Social Media: The service does not cover social media platforms. You must manage your privacy settings on those platforms directly.
- Processing Time: Removal times vary by data broker. Some requests may take several weeks or months to complete.
- Accuracy: The effectiveness of removals depends on the accuracy of the personal information you provide.

7. Cancellation & Refunds
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
New subscribers are eligible for a full refund if you cancel within 30 days of your initial subscription. Contact support at support@reklaimyou.com to request a refund.
How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Dashboard Settings or by contacting customer support. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.
After Cancellation
When your subscription ends, we will stop submitting new removal requests and monitoring for your information. Existing removal requests that are in progress will continue to be processed.
No Prorated Refunds
Except for the 30-day money-back guarantee, we do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.
8. Changes to Service
We may modify or discontinue Reklaim Protect features at any time. If we make material changes that negatively affect your use of the service, we will provide 30 days' advance notice and you may cancel for a prorated refund.
We may update these Protect Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the service. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
