1. Your Rights
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and similar state privacy laws (including those in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah), you have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information.
While Reklaim does not sell your personal information in the traditional sense (exchanging data for money), certain data sharing activities may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under these laws, including:
- Sharing data with advertising partners for targeted advertising
- Using third-party analytics that may share data across sites
- Participating in data cooperatives or data sharing arrangements
3. How to Opt Out
You have several ways to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information:
Option 1: Dashboard Privacy Settings
Log in to your account and navigate to Dashboard → Settings → Privacy. Toggle "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" to ON.
Option 2: Cookie Preferences
Click "Cookie Settings" in our website footer to disable marketing and analytics cookies.
Option 3: Email Request
Send an email to privacy@reklaimyou.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information."
Option 4: Automated Opt-Out Request
Fill out the form below to submit your opt-out request directly.
Just a heads up, opting out of the sale or sharing of your personal data will mean you no longer qualify for any of our Rewards Programs and the corresponding earnings.
We will process your request within 15 business days. You do not need to create an account to make this request, but we may need to verify your identity.
4. Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers have a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that sends a signal to websites you visit, indicating that you do not want to be tracked. We honor DNT signals and will not track your browsing activity across other websites when you have DNT enabled.
Additionally, we respect the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we will treat this as a valid opt-out request for the sale or sharing of personal information.
5. Mobile Privacy Controls
If you use the Reklaim mobile app, you can control data sharing through your device settings:
iOS (iPhone/iPad)
- Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
- Turn off "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
- Or disable tracking for Reklaim specifically
Android
- Go to Settings → Privacy → Ads
- Enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization"
- Or reset your advertising ID
