Notice of Financial Incentive
Last updated: January 23, 2026
1. Introduction
This Notice of Financial Incentive is provided pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). It describes the financial incentive programs offered by Reklaim Ltd. ("Reklaim," "we," "us," or "our") in exchange for the collection and use of your personal information.
The core mission of Reklaim is to give you control over your personal data and allow you to earn rewards from its value. This notice explains how these incentive programs work and your rights regarding participation.
2. What Is a Financial Incentive
Under California law, a "financial incentive" is a program that offers consumers price or service differences, payments, or other benefits in exchange for the collection, retention, or sale of their personal information.
Reklaim's rewards program constitutes a financial incentive because we provide monetary value and other benefits to users who allow us to collect and share their data with our business partners.
3. How Reklaim Rewards Work
When you participate in Reklaim's rewards programs, you can earn value through:
Complete surveys from brands and earn cash rewards directly. Payment amounts vary by survey length and complexity.
Opt in to share aggregated, anonymized data with research partners. You earn a portion of the revenue generated from this data.
Invite friends to join Reklaim and earn bonus rewards when they sign up and complete their profile.
Earn entries into periodic prize draws based on your participation and activity.
4. How We Calculate Value
California law requires us to explain how we calculate the value of consumer data. The value of your personal information to Reklaim is based on:
- Revenue Generated: The amount our business partners pay for access to aggregated, anonymized consumer insights and survey responses.
- User Allocation: A significant portion of this revenue (typically 70-80%) is allocated back to users through our rewards programs.
- Activity-Based Value: Your earnings depend on your participation level, including surveys completed, data shared, and profile completeness.
Estimated Value
The average active Reklaim user earns approximately $50-$200 per year through our rewards programs, depending on activity level and available campaigns. This estimate is based on historical revenue data and user participation rates.
We believe this value proposition is reasonable and fair because:
- Users receive direct monetary compensation for their data
- Participation is entirely voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time
- Users maintain control over what data is shared and with whom
- The majority of revenue generated from user data goes back to users
5. Incentive Categories
We collect and use the following categories of personal information in connection with our financial incentive programs:
| Category | Examples | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Identifiers | Email, name, phone | Account management, payments |
| Demographics | Age, gender, location | Survey targeting, insights |
| Preferences | Interests, shopping habits | Personalized campaigns |
| Survey Responses | Answers to campaign questions | Brand research |
| Activity Data | App usage, engagement | Reward calculations |
